Hello and welcome!
I work virtually with children, teens and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, neurodivergence, trauma, PTSD and life transitions. I am passionate about bringing the best care to my clients. I believe that the counseling relationship is the catalyst to your healing.
About Anna Ekblad, MA, LMHCA
I graduated from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology in 2023. There I specialized in working with people who suffer from trauma and survivors of sexual abuse. As a psychotherapist I am trained in psychoanalytic, psychodynamic and attachment theories. I use a multicultural, eclectic approach with my clients.
I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my husband and son. For fun I love to go outdoors on nature walks with my family, check out new restaurants, write, swim and read anything to do with psychology, mysteries and thrillers.
I am passionate about helping you find your voice and build a better relationship with yourself and others through improving your relational skills and healthy self-soothing tools to address various issues.
I believe in the power of telling your story and making sense of how your early relationships have formed and shaped you into who you are today.
The Therapeutic Process:
Every client is unique so I tailor the therapeutic experience to your particularities and needs. In our first session we will get aquainted. Then we will come up with a treatment plan to address the issues you are bringing to therapy.
